Path Changes in Version 11
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of PDF-XChange to version 11 or later, it is important to be aware that the locations of many application resources have changed. A comprehensive list of these changes is available here.
These changes were made following the company's rebranding from Tracker Software to PDF-XChange. In most cases existing file paths, folder names, registry keys, and other references can be updated simply by replacing the strings "Tracker Software" or "Tracker-Software" with "PDF-XChange". Throughout this manual, both the legacy and current paths are shown wherever a file path or registry key has changed. This approach is intended to make it easier for administrators and users who are migrating from earlier versions to identify the equivalent locations in Version 11.
Please note that the registry keys used for Group Policy settings have not changed in version 11. This was an intentional design decision to preserve backward compatibility with existing Group Policy deployments and administrative templates. As a result, existing Group Policy configurations will continue to function without modification after upgrading.
